Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Rogo, Kano State. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Six days a week, one day off.
