What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork.
