Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Butler County, Kansas. You will work in an HVAC service company. The role involves measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds 2+ years on the tools preferred.
