Die-casting operator wanted in Borough of Bolton

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Borough of Bolton, England. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry £3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
