Gtaw welder — Wilson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Wilson County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints 3+ years on the tools preferred.
