Punch press operator • Worcester County, Maryland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Worcester County, Maryland. The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
