Fabricator-welder — Santa Fe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
