Plasterer's mate • Hamblen County, Tennessee

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Hamblen County, Tennessee. You will be based in a refurbishment property. On a typical shift you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets. You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
