Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in Northumberland County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Day-to-day duties: • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
