Gas pipe fitter • Preston County, West Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Preston County, West Virginia. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Day to day you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
