You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC On a typical shift you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge.
