The role involves keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station; fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor; log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard.
