Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling • Willing to attend emergency call-outs • Own a basic set of plumbing hand tools On the job you will handle: • Fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves • Trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits • Make connections to the mains water and sewer lines • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall • Read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site • Replace worn washers, seals and float valves Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
