Aluminium tig welder — Fergus County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Fergus County, Montana. You will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
