Urgent requirement: safety officer (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Tuolumne County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
