Grill cook • Issaquena County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a grill cook in Issaquena County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
