Earthmoving plant operator • Sitka City and Borough, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will work in an open-cast mine. Day to day you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
