Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Day to day you will fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
