TIG welder — San Diego County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in San Diego County, California. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred.
