Great opportunity: argon welding operator (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Todd County, South Dakota. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
