Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in East Lothian, Scotland. You will work at an industrial plant. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Able to read construction drawings and specifications The role involves: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters 2+ years on the tools preferred.
