Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Nottinghamshire, England. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £3,150 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
