Urgent requirement: counter butcher (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Jefferson County, Tennessee. The job is at a wholesale meat market. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience.
