Rebar fixer — Kwami

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Kwami, Gombe State. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
