Fire and safety officer — Kanke

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Kanke, Plateau State. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Your main tasks: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points 4+ years on the tools preferred.
