Gtaw welder wanted in Morgan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Morgan County, Kentucky. You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
