RCC mason — Brighton and Hove

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a RCC mason in Brighton and Hove, England. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
