Gas commissioning technician • Lumpkin County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Lumpkin County, Georgia. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
