The role involves: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
