Great opportunity: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Pike County, Ohio. The job is with a civil contractor. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Your main tasks: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
