Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in San Juan County, Colorado. Day to day you will seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; insulate and ventilate the roof void. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) 1+ years on the tools preferred.
