Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage The role involves: • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place Full-time with occasional weekends.
