Banksman • Logan County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Logan County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy construction site. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
