Urgent requirement: sheet metal press operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Southampton County, Virginia. You will work on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
