Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Hardin County, Iowa. The job is on a commercial building project. The role involves fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
