Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Your main tasks: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour 3+ years on the tools preferred.
