Pastry baker — Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day to day you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough.
