Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Schuyler County, New York. You will work at an open-cast mine. You should have: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems On the job you will handle: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
