Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Haralson County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
