We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Boise County, Idaho. You will work at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
