Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Jefferson County, Idaho. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On a typical shift you will fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Requirements: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
