Join our team: we are hiring a rebar installer in Blackburn with Darwen, England. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
