Now hiring: we are hiring a JCB operator in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services On the job you will handle: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
