Coating plant operator wanted in Gaston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Gaston County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
