Machine setter-operator • Contra Costa County, California

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Contra Costa County, California. You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands You will record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; set up and start the machine as per the job card; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line.
