Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (Wisconsin)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Price County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
