Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Alcorn County, Mississippi. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites On a typical shift you will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
