Vacancy available: rigging foreman (Bayelsa State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
