Elevator technician — Gallatin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Gallatin County, Illinois. You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
