Immediate opening: motor grader operator (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a stone quarry. On the job you will handle: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
